The ‘Asia’s Next Top Model’ Cycle 6 Winner ‘Dana Slosar’, dual Thai-American model was up against Mia Sabathy of Taiwan and Adela Mae Marshall of the Philippines. Dana was one of three contestants this season from Thailand, alongside Lena Saetiao and Pim Bubear, who placed 14th and 5th respectively.

This makes Dana Slosar is the 3rd Thai model to win the reality competition, following Jessica Amornkuldilok from cycle 1 and Tawan Kedkong from cycle 3.

Dana is easy-going but won’t hesitate to stand up for herself. Having grown up with protective parents, she leads a sheltered life but isn’t afraid to go after what she wants. “Work hard, play hard” is her motto. She is always ready for the next job and the next party.

She is signed to two modelling agencies, Model One in Hong Kong and Kiss Models in Bangkok, and will now also link up with London-based agency Storm Model Management.

The ‘Asia’s Next Top Model’ Cycle 6

The sixth season of Asia’s Next Top Model (subtitled as Asia’s Next Top Model 6: Beyond Limits) premiered on August 22, 2018. Filming for the season took place in Bangkok, Thailand. Cindy Bishop and Yu Tsai both returned as judges for panel, while Monika Sta. Maria from season 3, Shikin Gomez and Minh Tu Nguyen from season 5 made appearances as model mentors throughout the season.

The season featured 14 contestants: three from Thailand, two from the Philippines and Indonesia, and one each from Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Taiwan and Vietnam. China, India, Mongolia, Nepal, and South Korea were unrepresented. Japan marked its comeback after its absences from the previous two seasons, while both Hong Kong and Myanmar returned after their absences from the previous season.

The prize package for this season included a Subaru XV, a cover and fashion spread in Harper’s Bazaar Thailand, a featured avatar in the new America’s Next Top Model Mobile Game, and a modeling contract with Storm Model Management in London.
